Project – Toe Pincher Coffin (2008)
Our first project, and the most involved one up-to-date was a toe pincher coffin. Last yr I had the wonderful idea of having an automatic candy dispenser that was a toe pincher, well that didn’t happen. This yr it did, well it’s not a candy dispenser, just a prop. I got ingenius concept of creating one out of a single piece of plywood from this site. I won’t go into detail on how to make this, since I linked the project concept I used, but I will show you our progress.

As long as no one checks the angles it looks quite well, I have no complaints being the first time making one.

Though she doesn't believe me, it was total coincidence that the coffin was the exact size of my girlfriend

Here it is stained, we have some black trim to add, I'm not sure if we will, though my girlfriend will hit me if we don't, since she already painted it.

Finished, used black spray paint to add an aging affect. This is how it will look, excluding the chains that will be around it.
So that’s pretty much it, I will add the photos on Halloween once it happens, I plan on putting a fog machine in it, which will hopefully feed the cemetery. It will also have a strobe/thunder box in it that will go off using a motion sensor flood light with the electric plug adapters used. Thanks for reading.
I put in the strobe light, I will add pictures once I remember to take them, It seems to work, but wasn’t as bright as I was hoping it would be. I also did a fog test, some pictures are posted below:
…more to come as we progress.
